Secret Saiyan Is Back After 8 Years!

Mike Sandoval aka Kidgrave founded this website back in 2002, and closed it around late 2007. I, Mike Sandoval, closed this website down because Dragon Ball Z was losing a lot of popularity, and this wasn’t motivating to keep the website online. DBZ was losing popularity due to the release of Naruto. At some point, I was just too busy with work and this site was hardly getting any visitors. However, I’m very happy that Akira Toriyama has started on a new series, which is Dragon Ball Super, and this immediately made me want to bring my website back online.

You may be asking, what happened to secretsaiyan.com? That is a good question. That domain is currently being transferred. For now this website could be accessed through secretsaiyan.net, and you’ll be able to use this address, even when secretsaiyan.com is done being transferred to our favorite domain name registrar (namecheap.com). For now, secretsaiyan.net is simply serving as a domain to redirect you to a temporary link, so that you may have access to the site.

There are a few things that are temporarily working on this website and some that are not. The image gallery is working, which is a collection of high quality cels (images). A lot of our information from the Dragon Ball, DBZ, and DBGT is currently down. Mike Sandoval’s writing  has improved a lot over the years, and how he will be fixing typos from this sites old content, and organizing them better than before. Editing information could be time consuming and on top of that, this website was originally coded with old school html. Furthermore, most of the pages were brought together with SSI. It really takes some time to transition using a different system to manage the websites content and news. Personally, I’m not really concerned about the old information being down because most of you are already fairly familiar with Dragon Ball.

At the moment, the focus of this site is to bring updates with what is going on with the new Dragon Ball Super series. What does this mean? It means that I will be working on a episode guide for this series, as well as weekly updates on new episode previews.

My sister will be hosting my website, and I’d appreciate it if you guys would check out her website. Her website name is memoirofapoet.com

    • Thank you. When my website was down, there were many times when I’d visit your website, and it made me realize that more DBZ websites from the old days should be coming back. It was sad to see how many popular websites kept closing down, and this motivated me to bring my site back. I was glad that your website was still online.

  1. To be honest I did forget about the site for a long time. 2008-2013 was a really dark time for Majin Planet. I didn’t do much of updates for it but it stay online. I was working on other projects but about a year ago I decided to merge my other projects into Majin Planet and go back to it, never looked back. It’s too bad most if not all of them are gone now. Some of them did last a while past 2010 but in the last few years I’ve only found a few but most are dead or really not up to the standard we had for fan sites back then. Maybe with you coming back others will follow.

If there is anything you ever need, you always have a friend at Majin Planet.

    • I hope that my site coming back and with yours online, that other DBZ sites make a come back. There’s one thing that I dislike, and it is that most sites starting focusing on just streaming. I agree that most DBZ sites are now dead. The very few DBZ sites that are online, they are poorly made. You said “If there is anything you ever need, you always have a friend at Majin Planet,” and my response to this is likewise. Good thing you found the motivation to bring back your site. I do remember you not updating Majin Planet for ages.

      • Yeah I went a while not updating it. Busy with other projects but heck Majin Planet is never gonna die! I’m hoping many DBZ sites will return. We all need to help each other out.

  2. Hory Shet its back I wonder what happened to the old people like Edward and DS now it would be great to see everyone come back together!

    • I also wonder what happened to them. At the moment I keep in touch with Kid Buu, and he said he will contact the former group members. I wonder what happened to Time2KillSwitch and Gh0st Xer0. I would love for them to come back. I know there will be upcoming DBZ games, and I’d like for the site to focus on news, just like the old days. For now, I’ll be working on new content, since there’s a new episode of Dragon Ball Super being released in Japan every week.

  3. Holy crap, KG, how’s it going man?! I haven’t been here since forever; it’d be super cool to be back here again doing what we used to do now that Super is back!

Maybe everyone will get back together for a bit, who knows

    • Dude, I was just hoping to get a hold of you the other day, but I had no idea how to contact you. Yeah, long time no talk. It would be completely awesome to get everyone back together. I was wondering if you wouldn’t mind posting some news once in a while? I can make you an account to post on the site. If you have a Facebook, you should add me. What’s new with you? What do you think about Dragon Ball Super?
