Dragon Ball Super Episode 44 starts with a planet named Potof being introduced, and it looks like two different races from that planet are at conflict. Back on earth, Bulma is busy working on an experiment, and she asks Monaka if he could help her out with it. Bulma’s machine looks round and it expels some gas, which turns it into a blue thing that looks like a diamond. It seems like Bulma may be working on some type of new fuel to be able to travel to farther planets throughout the galaxy. Trunks and Goten arrive to Capsule Corp, and are unable to find Monaka. They started being really nosy, and went inside the delivery truck of Monaka. Trunks started swinging a sword that he saw there, and Goten opened up a box that has a doll inside, which got really huge like a balloon. However, Trunks popped the balloon-looking doll with the sword. By accident, Trunks and Goten get locked up on Monaka’s delivery trunk. Monaka leaves Bulma’s place to continue with his deliveries.

Goten and Trunks meet new villains!

Monaka arrives to planet Potof, and once he opens the back of his delivery truck, he finds Goten and Trunks being frozen. Monaka unfreezes them by placing them in a tub full of hot water and gives them some blankets to warm up. It was mentioned in this paragraph that this episode began with two different races being in a conflict in planet Potof. There’s this new character that has a beard, who is friends with Monaka. Monaka had delivered a magazine to him, which is about the fighters of different universes. The other race from this universe started to attack Monaka’s friend, however, Goten and Trunks started fighting the henchmen. These new villains are different shades of green color. Like always, Monaka fainted when seeing a fight. These villains had arrived to steal the force of planet Potof, which it appears to be sealed within a gem that was dropped on the floor during the fight. This gem is actually looks like what is given to babies to suck on, and the villains already got a hold of it.

A new threat in planet Potof

The leader of the green-looking villains has everyone else captive and tied up with ropes. It is hard to translate Japanese names, but his name is supposed to be Sotein Grill. Sorry if the translation is wrong. Sotein Grill uses the gem to remove the chains that are around a door made out of stone. Inside of the door, there is a jar that is supposed to contain super water. The super water is supposed to make anyone who drinks it become super strong. Monaka’s friend says that there’s no such thing as super water and that the jar would trap whoever opens it.

Vegeta arrives to planet Potof and is in trouble!

Vegeta starts to wonder where Trunks and Goten are at. Bulma starts to ask Jaco to help her get Trunks and Goten back, but he starts refusing. Jaco starts to say that Sotein Grill is a big threat. Bulma blackmails Jaco to help her out by reminding him that he drew silly things on the picture of the Galactinc King. Jaco agrees to bring Trunks and Goten back to earth. Vegeta seems annoyed, but Bulma makes him travel together with Jaco. Jaco seems really nervous to travel with Vegeta. Chichi calls Bulma to ask where Goten is at and she gets pissed off to find out that he’s missing. Chichi starts to yell Goku out loud out of worry an anger. Back at King Kai’s planet, Goku is training at managing his ki better, so that he no longer has ki retardation.

Trunks receives a gun blast from one of Sotein Grill’s henchmen However, Vegeta arrives just in time to deflect the blast. Jaco freaks out as soon as he sees Grill. Vegeta starts to fight against the henchmen by throwing blasts at the henchmen. By the way, the henchmen are now a purple color and look like gelatin. Once some of the henchmen got destroyed, the gelatin on the floor covered Vegeta entirely, and he struggled with breathing. This gelatin thing also made Vegeta weak. After this, the purple gelatin let go of Vegeta and it transformed into a copy of Vegeta. Wow, there’s now another Vegeta?
