Dragon Ball Super 56 Full Episode and Summary

Dragon Ball Super Episode 56 starts with Goku, Vegeta, arriving to Future Trunk’s timeline. Trunks, Vegeta, and Goku have to deal with the explosives that the resistance launches at them. However, Trunks has to explain to the resistance that Goku is not Black and that he doesn’t have time to explain all the details. Future Trunks finds out that Mai didn’t get killed by Goku Black. He is too excited to see her again. However, Mai starts to feel really shy when Trunks starts to say that he is really happy to see her. Mai tells Trunks that a man should not cry and welcomes him back. Previously to Trunks discovering that Mai is still alive, Mai and the resistance threw explosives on Goku Black but that had no effect on him. Only a few humans have have survived in Future Trunk’s timeline. Vegeta tells all the survivors to move the side, and he pops capsules that have food, which he uses to feed to the surviving humans. Yajirobe is still alive in the future, and he had survived when the androids attacked Future Trunk’s timeline in the past.

Super Saiyan Blue Vegeta faces Black

Mai asks Trunks if he will fight against Black, but Vegeta says it is not necessary. Therefore, Vegeta and Goku play a game of rock-paper-scissors, and to decide who will fight against Black. Vegeta beats Goku, but Trunks still wants to fight against Black. Vegeta tells Trunks to not fight because he needs to survive in order to help repopulate humanity by having babies with Mai. Goku black appears and he starts to talk about how the earth will be a great thing without the existence of humans. Vegeta throws a ki blast to make Black aware that he is present. Goku Black arrives, and it looks like there’s a tornado surrounding him. Vegeta immediately transforms into super saiyan blue. Goku Black thinks this transformation is impressing, but thinks Vegeta is just a human and refers to him as such in a condescending way. Vegeta rushes Black with a lot of punches, and but Black doesn’t seem to be receiving any type of damage from this. Black immediately kicks Vegeta in the stomach and sends him flying.

Black transroms into Super Saiyan Rose!

Black transforms into a super saiyan form with pink hair, which he refers to as super saiyan rose. Black starts to tell Goku about how he managed to make Goku’s power his, meaning that somehow he is possessing Goku’s power. Black tells Goku that he is a miserable human being and that there’s no way he can comprehend what he has managed to achieve. Black starts to express that his existence and that someone like him is above everything else. When Vegeta challenges him again to a fight, Black tells him that his turn is over. Vegeta starts to fight Black again, but Black uses his hand to stab Vegeta through his body. Black used his ki to turn it into something that looks like a long sword. Vegeta bleeds through his mouth and then falls to the ground. Black states that he’s become stronger due to his suffering.

Goku transforms into super saiyan blue. After this, Black starts to say that hes currently in a place, where a miserable human being wont be able to reach where he’s at. The fight between Goku and Black starts, and Trunks rushes to see if Vegeta is fine. After this, Goku is shocked because he sees Black doing a kamehameha. However, Black hears a voice that tells him to stop what he is doing. Zamasu is that voice and he appears next to Black. Trunks doesn’t think that Zamasu and Black are the same person. According to Zamasu, he is the one who will give Goku the final blow.
