This episode begins with Future Trunks waking up from his bed and trying to punch Goku. Goku stopped his attack and then Bulma slapped Future Trunks. Trunks is surprised that Goku is still alive and apologizes. Future Trunks is very happy to see Bulma. However, Pilaf thinks that Vegeta and Bulma committed adultery, and think this because there’s two Trunks. Beerus is also trying to figure out what’s going on.
Beerus and Whis are surprised to see that a human build a time machine. Bulma asks Whis if he’s surprised to see her invention. However, Whis states that time traveling and altering events has serious consequences. He explains that controlling time could harm or disappear the planet. Whis also says that not even Gods should be interfering with time. Beerus starts to feel offended because Trunks thinks that Whis is the only God. However, Bulma explains to Future Trunks that Beerus is a God, but the God of Destruction. Future Trunks gets on his knees and seems very sorry. Goku asks Beerus to forgive Future Trunks and to give cut him some slack. Like always, Beerus is always interested in food and he’s willing to forgive Future Trunks, but only if he’s given food that he’s never tried before. Bulma gave a sausage to Beerus and Whis and they loved it, and she also gave some to Pilaf, Shu, Mai, and Future Trunks.
In the meanwhile, Krillin and Piccolo are taking a break from picking out lettuce from Chichi’s farm. Krillin is starting to remember about how Master Roshi trained him and made him dig with his hands to get stronger. Chichi receives a phone call and tells Piccolo and Krillin that something bad has happened, and notifies them that Future Trunks arrived in his time machine. Piccolo immediately starts to feel concerned for Gohan. Once Piccolo and Krillin fly out to where the rest of the Z fighters are at, Goten decides that he should go to help them out. However, Chichi does not want Goten leaving because he has an exam next week and she thinks that him taking an exam is more important than saving the earth.
Vegeta starts to ask Future Trunks about what happened in his future, and asks what happened to Majin Buu. Future Trunks had confronted Darbura and Babidi in his timeline, and stopped Majin Buu from being resurrected. Future Trunks starts to explain to Goku and Vegeta that his new enemy looks exactly like Goku, and that his enemy wears black clothing. This new enemy is Goku Black. In Janaese, the word black is used in some animes to refer to someone being evil. It doesn’t mean that Goku became African. Bulma starts to say that Goku Black is a stupid name, and then she feels stupid when Future Trunks tells her that his mom from the future gave him that name.
When Black first arrived to earth, he said “from now on, for the good of justice, will annihilate all human beings.” For a year, Future Trunks fought against Goku Black. Goku Black ended up destroying a lot of the earth. Vegeta got mad because Future Trunks used his time machine to come to the present. Vegeta perceived this act as running away from a fight and he thinks that’s lacking saiyan pride. Future Bulma had left notes on Trunk’s time machine, so that the Bulma from the present is able to repair the time machine. Future Bulma also developed new methods of time traveling. Vegeta wants to be the one to defeat Black Goku because he believes he will finally get the chance to defeat Kakarot.
Goku wants to see how strong Future Trunks is and wants to train a bit. Future Trunks and Goku both begin the little warm up by immediately transforming into super saiyan 2. Beerus and Whis are laying down while they enjoy eating their sausage. Bulma gets a remote control and activates a force field so that the fight between Goku and Futur Trunks doesn’t destroy her property, and so that they can give it their all. Little Trunks is excited to see his future-self fight Goku. Goku transforms into super saiyan 3 and Future Trunks is happy to know that he has surpassed his super saiyan powers. Trunks rushes Goku with his sword, however, Goku stops it with only his fingers. After this both stop sparring, and both Piccolo and Krillin arrive. Black opens a portal, which is purple color. Finally, Goku and Goku Black got to meet each other. By the way, Goku Black had used a ring on his finger, which is what let him travel to where Trunks is.
This episode was Ok i guess, but I feel the pace at the end of this arc is a bit rushed in my opinion.
